Abstract
In this study, there is the hypothesizing of the relationship between the corporate culture influences on employee motivation. The sample in the investigation consisted of a majority of the banksemployees in Colorado as stated earlier in the project paper. Two instruments were useful in this study including the motivation questionnaire as well as the corporate culture questionnaire as they would be effective in providing the information required. There was then the analysis of the information using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The calculation of the product-moment coefficients and the linear relationship took place to shed more light on the hypotheses.

Introduction
Against the background of improving an organizations’ competitiveness, there need for organizations to ensure that they develop work cultures that motivate employees. That will ensure high performance within those organizations and make them have a competitive advantage over their rivals. The motivation of employees depends on a company’s culture that can either be autocratic, technocratic, bureaucratic or entrepreneurial. Managers have the mandate of developing the right kind of corporate culture in their organizations so as to encourage high employee motivation (Schumann, 2009). That consequently leads to high performance.

The findings reflect that all of the various cultures existing in the selected banks included autocratic, bureaucratic, technocratic as well as entrepreneurial and they existed in varying degrees as shown by the mean values. The findings show that the most dominant corporate culture was autocratic with a mean of 2.9605 while the second was an entrepreneurial culture with a mean of 2.5410. That shows that there is a significant difference in the dominant cultures that are in the Colorado Banking industry. Therefore, we reject the null hypothesis and accept ten alternative hypotheses that say: a dominant culture exists in Colorado banking industry.

The above table shows that there exist a negative relationship between the dominant culture, autocratic, and the motivation of employees with the value r = -0.427. That means when there is an increase of autocratic culture; there is a decrease in the motivation of employees. A negative correlation also exists between the bureaucratic culture and motivation (Manzoni & Sardarm, 2009). It is only the technocratic and entrepreneurial cultures that have positive correlations. For this reason, we reject the null hypothesis H02 and accept the alternative hypothesis HA2. That means a correlation exists between the type of corporate culture and the motivation of employees (Pulakos, 2009). It shows that corporate culture has an influence on the motivation of employees.
Limitations of the study
The study only considered the banks in Colorado and, therefore, it may not apply to other banks elsewhere. Therefore, there is a need to retest the phenomenon if the consideration for other areas takes place before making a general conclusion. There is a limitation of our knowledge base, and those limitations show us where we need to make new efforts (Marshall & Rossman, 2011). Another limitation was the lack of enough funds because the study involved many travels for disseminating questionnaires, making observations and then collecting the questionnaire. I also had to incur the cost of printing the questionnaires.
Conclusion
According to the findings, there is the influence of corporate culture on the employee motivation in Colorado banking industry. There is also a dominant culture in this industry which is autocratic culture. There is a positive correlation between the technocratic culture and the employee motivation; thus, this industry should endeavor to strengthen the technocratic culture to have high performance. Corporate culture is one of the determinant factors of the performance of companies, and there is a need for the management in those companies to ensure that they have mechanisms that ensure its protection. They should pay much attention to those types of cultures that have a positive correlation with the employee motivation as that will give them high value.
