A good restaurant typically starts with an excellent defined annual plan and also the operating budget. When considering the forecasted breakfast, lunch, and evening spending per head, the number tend to make sense. When calculating the revenue and the operating objectives into the effective daily number, the numbers show realistic revenue goals in a certain time period. The prices for the meals available in the restaurant make sense and they tend to consider the financial position of students. Most students will be taking two meals in a day which means they will be spending about 11 dollars on a day. When the restaurant maintains its prices, it will experience an increase in the number of students visiting the restaurant; thus, result in an increase in sale which will later contribute to a rise in profits. Locating the restaurant in the college provide the opportunity of positioning the brand on a permanent done-out radar for a customer learning how to manage their own discretionary income. Because the restaurant is considering opening in US, it is important to locate in a university as it provides a venue where the restaurant can build awareness of the brand.
The menu in the restaurant is appetizing because it provides different types of fillings. Thus, students have various options that they can select from. I would consider adding some more options in the menu. Because I plan to start the restaurant on a college campus, it is better to add more options because students normally have the desire for more varieties in their menu options. The restaurant should ensure that it has all the options that students want so as to avoid the probability of students leaving the campus because they can get better-quality food elsewhere. A product I would consider adding to the menu is pizza where students can enjoy the pizza by a slice or by the pie and also breadsticks and a very wide variety of salads. Some other products that students would enjoy include fresh salads, smoothies, and juice these are products that are preservative-free, natural, and plain scrumptious.
I would consider investing in this venture because the business provides great opportunities for making profit. The benefit of locating the restaurant in the college is that one thing that drives Millennials is convenience. The Millennials normally want what they want, where they want, and when they want it. Hence, if I have something in the right place that is appealing to them, they will purchase it. The business will see huge success by starting the restaurant on a college campus.
